What is the National Construction Code (NCC)?

The National Construction Code is Australia’s primary set of technical design and construction provisions for buildings.  

To design to resist these potential forces and loads, the NCC calls out AS/NZS 1170.0 and its related suite of standards, to determine the expected loads that can occur on non-load bearing building elements.  

Material standards are then followed to ensure that our materials can withstand these loads.

What is a Seismic Design?
